Three Things About Me

  1.  Unintentionally, 6 years  I started a small collection of classic novels.
  2. I love to do anything that let’s me be creative whether it’s writing stories (even though I struggle putting my ideas on paper) or doing something artsy (painting, making jewelry or DIY).
  3. A few years ago, at my summer camp I learned how to balance a peacock feather on my finger, spin plates and semi-juggle. I don’t know if I can still do those things now, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Pavani’s Questions for Me

  • What’s your favourite fictional creature?

I love mythical creatures and their mythology. If I had to pick my favorite fictional creature(s) it would be fairies. When I was about 10, I picked up this guide book to fairies from my public library’s book sale. I loved it so much. It told me how to make a fairy garden, when you could see fairies, what to do if you entered a fairy circle and a bunch of other things. Sadly, it disappeared and I cannot for the life of me remember the title and haven’t been able to find it.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  •  What’s your usual reading spot?

It depends on where I am. When I was living on campus, I would usually read in my dorm or while waiting for my classes to start. When the weather was nice, I would read outside on various benches or underneath some trees. Meanwhile, when I’m home, I usually read on my couch or outside in my backyard.

  • Tea or coffee?

I usually drink one of each every day so both!

  • Who’s your favourite character in the book you’re currently reading?

I  just started reading With The Fire On High by Elizabeth Acevedo.  Right away I knew Emoni would be my favorite character in the novel.

  • What new hobby have you picked up in quarantine?

I haven’t picked up any new hobbies during quarantine. I’ve been so busy trying to stay on top of my course work and utterly failing because I have the attention of a goldfish and get distracted easily.Screen Shot 2020-04-18 at 11.43.39 PMtumblr_9e7033c8ad3725e0d8724083ee41d926_77533fc7_540

  1. I can’t even imagine trying to do course work right now – so I’m giving you all the props for getting any done! I took a few online classes, and it was a lot, haha. Sadness for that missing book!! I have had a few books where they have been misplaced or totally forgotten the title, and I am desperate to find it. It took me years to find it, but after google searches including little bits about it and what I could remember about the cover and such, I found success. Hopefully one day you will be able to find it!! Thanks so much for the tag, and great post!

    1. It has been really difficult and I’m pushing through until the end of the semester when I graduate. I’m so glad you’ve been able to find the books you’ve forgotten! I hope I can find it one day! Thank you! You’re welcome! 🙂

  2. Huge congratulations on winning the award !! And I loved reading your answers!! I love doing creative things as well, although a lot of my writing ideas end up in my head rather than on paper as well. haha!! And you certainly picked up some unique skills from summer camp!!
Fairies are cool. One time I was at a market type thing and they were selling homemade fairy doors that you could attach to your skirting board, so cute!!
I really want to read With The Fire On High so I’m glad you love the main character!!
I’m sending you motivation for your online classes/school work as I imagine that is hard work!! Best of luck!!
Thank you soooooo much for nominating me, it means a lot ! ❤
